Dr. Martin's journey in medicine began with her studies at the University of Witwatersrand, where she completed her degree in March 2015. Following her education, she spent two years in internship training at Pietermaritzburg Hospital Complex, followed by an additional year of community service at Helen Joseph Hospital.
With a diverse background encompassing both public service at Baragwanath Hospital's Medical Emergency Unit and private practice across various hospital emergency departments, including Lenmed Ahmed Kathrada Hospital, Busumed Hillcrest Hospital, Linksfield Hospital, Wilgeheuwel Hospital, Johannesburg Surgical Hospital, and Olivedale Hospital, Dr. Martin has honed her skills in managing a wide range of medical emergencies and conditions.
Dr. Martin's dedication to continuous learning is evident in her additional qualifications, including current certifications in Paediatric and Adult Advanced Life Support, as well as diplomas from the College of Medicine of South Africa in the fields of Primary Emergency Care and HIV Management.
